Okay, I slacked while at mom and dads - and just for you two, Amanda and Ruthie - I thought you might like the recipe for that chocolate cookie I put in your little packages :)
1 box Pillsbury Devils food cake mix
2 eggs
1/2 cup vegetable or canola oil
Use hand mixer - will be very thick (and yummy). Use cookie scoop or make small balls about 1 inch diameter and bake on 350 for 8-9 minutes.
Optional filling for sandwich cookies:
1 cup powdered sugar
2 tsp vanilla
1/2 package cream cheese (4 oz)
1/2 stick butter (1/4 cup)
blend well, put in plastic bag or pastry bag and pipe onto cookie, top with another cookie....eat - keep chilled if using the filling :)
Perfect for unexpected company!
